Kong, also known to the locals as the desert of
art and culture, has a beautiful Cultural Center
at Tsim Sha Tsui to counter the bad name. But with
the wide popularity of gossip magazines, comics
with sex and violence, and proliferation of
sub-cultures, Hong Kong, like other big cities, is
being eroded by her urbanization process.

One of Hong Kong's oldest and most popular
tourist attractions, Aberdeen consists of 600-odd

full of bright colors, strange sounds, and
                              mystifying odors.

                              Bank Of China Tower
The Bank of China Tower, designed to be
taller than the nearby Hong Kong Bank, is said to
be a symbol of Chinese sovereignty for the
preparation of July 1, 1997. Feng-Sui masters said
it is a dagger pointing to the Hong Kong
Governor's residence. Despite these hearsay, Bank
of China has already started officially issuing
legal tender and is the third notes issuing bank
in Hong Kong. The significant role of China in
Hong Kong's economy is already indisputable.
